| I write contemporary romantic fiction, both category and single-title length. These novels have a sense of home, family and community along with the heat of attraction. FOOL ME TWICE has finaled in the 2009 From the Heart Romance Writers Best Proposal Contest, and placed a respectable third! Best of all, an editor asked to see it. I'll keep you all posted. While my historical characters get into as many entanglements as my contemporary ones, I don’t have to worry about costume changes in these books! If you like your contemporary romances sexy and sassy, you’re a reader after my own heart! My favorites of this genre are Jennifer Crusie, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Rachel Gibson among others. My completed manuscripts and works-in-progress also have quirky characters, settings as distinctive as the people, snappy dialogue and touching love scenes!
