| I’m JoMarie DeGioia’s alter ego. I write contemporary romantic fiction, both category and single-title length. FOOL ME TWICE has finaled in the 2009 From the Heart Romance Writers Best Proposal Contest, and placed a respectable third! Best of all, an editor asked to see it. I'll keep you all posted. While JoMarie’s historical characters get into as many hot situations as my contemporary ones, I don’t have to worry about costume changes. My characters wear a lot less clothes! If you like your contemporary romances hot and sassy, you’re a reader after my own heart! My favorites of this genre are Jennifer Crusie, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Rachel Gibson, Lori Foster and Vicki Lewis Thompson, among others. My completed manuscripts and works-in-progress also have quirky characters, settings as distinctive as the people, snappy dialogue and scorching hot love scenes!
